Fire magic within her world requires a fuel source of some kind to get more than a few sparks or just heat. For most people, this is sawdust, but in Maya's case, she pulls sugar straight from her body (allowing her to use magic even without ammo and dry weather) which gives her magic a distinct candyfloss smell.

Love the colors for the character and blush you got going on the bits, very cool! Just wanted to say that the proportions of the arms a little off, the elbow is usually across from where the belly button is on people. Besides that very cute drawing!
